Does anyone know how many weeks after shipping graduation is?  I am trying to make sure I have the right weekend's off at work, going to clear myself off 2 or 3 to be sure.  My DS is due to leave July 11th, so my guess is I should leave the weekend's of Sept. 1st and Sept. 8th free.  Should I also leave the 15th free?

You are very welcome.

My son left July 9.... so I’m thinking graduation would be sept 7....got his box today

Amie, yes, by counting 9 Fridays, PIR will most likely be 09/07/2018. It could be 08/31/2018 for some if your recruit ends up in a Push Division and is placed in one of the last divisions from the week before. It is possible for some who arrive on the same date to have PIR a week apart. Wait on The Form Letter, which now takes 9 to 14 business days after the recruit's arrival at the RTC to come, to know the PIR date for sure. Arrival and What Happens at the RTC within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) will let you know what is happening and what to expect.

My son left on July 9th. I just got his box. Wow hard seeing all his stuff without him.

My son left on July 9th.  His grad date is on Aug. 31 according to the recruiter.

debann11, at this time the division that he was tentatively placed in is a Push Division and is one of the last four divisions from the week before, which happens for some of those who arrive on a Monday or Tuesday as your recruit did. Things can change so wait on The Form Letter, which now arrives 9 to 14 business days after the recruit's arrival at the RTC in most cases, before sending letters or making plans for PIR.

Hello all! My son also left July 11th from Jax. I am anxiously awaiting to hear from my sons recruiter on his graduation date.  He originally told us 8 Fridays from the week he left for boot camp "typically."  Which would be Aug 31st, but again could be in a push through div? He was supposed to let me know by today his graduation date, but I have yet to hear from him. We too are anxious to know the date! obviously to book the travel but also to count down until we're able to see him! Does anyone know how we can find out the TG & division? Will that only come from the recruiter or form letter? Thanks in advance for your help!

By counting 9 Fridays, PIR will most likely be 09/07/2018 for those who shipped on 07/11/2018. Since he shipped at the end of the week, it could be 09/14/2018 if he was held over for this week’s TG. That happens sometimes in the summer due to storms and the large number of recruits who ship in the summer. It is unlikely that he will be in a Push Division and only have 8 Fridays since he shipped on Wednesday rather than Monday or Tuesday. It is possible for some who arrive on the same date to have PIR a week apart. Wait on The Form Letter to know the address PIR date for sure. Arrival and What Happens at the RTC within Boot Camp Moms (and loved ones) will let you know what to expect. Do NOT get the address from the recruiter unless it has been at least three calendar weeks since your recruit shipped since the address can change and could be wrong in the computer up to business day 11 or later (it has happened).
