Hi All! this is my first time posting and I was wondering if there are any moms out there who's child started boot camp yesterday, July 11th? I'm hoping the next 8 weeks go quickly.

The Form Letter now arrives 9 to 14 business days after the recruit's arrival at the RTC in most cases.

Hi LainieS, I too received my daughter’s box but no letter yet.

I had a note from Fedex on my door when I got home...I missed th box. Going to head in to town to see if I can pick it up tonight!
Well that was a bust.,,the driver wasn’t going to get back before the counter closed. Guess that’s what I get for living in the “boonies”.

Well shoot. FedEx usually leaves their deliveries without a signature? The box must have been sent with request for signature at delivery. I'm anxiously waiting for my daughter's box.

the box is sent with a signature request. You can write them a note letting them know it is OK to leave it, and sign the note. FedEx will accept that as signature to leave the box.

My son left July 11th also
Maybe the will be in the same division

That would be very cool.

Jennifer, I left info for you on your My Page.

My son left from Jax on July 11th as well! I can't wait to get the box, the letter and to find out his graduation date! Man I miss him already!!

I’m hearing ya! I thought I wouldn’t have a problem with the heartache since I’m retired military but boy oh boy is it way different when your baby boy leaves!
