That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.  2 Thessalonians 1:12 (KJV)

Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.” Hebrews 13:2 (NIV)

Father God, forgive me for how I sometimes forget to love others, especially strangers, in simple ways that honor You. Help me recognize opportunities to share the love You have given me with someone else who needs to feel Your love. Allow me to be Your hands and Your feet. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

1 John 4:21, “And this commandment we have from him: whoever loves God must also love his brother.” (ESV)

Matthew 25:40, “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’” (NIV)

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.” 2 Timothy 1:7 (NKJV)

Lord, it is easy to have faith when fear isn’t present. What I need is a faith that keeps moving forward even when fear sweeps in. Thank You for giving me Your power, love and a sound mind. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

Isaiah 35:4, “Say to those who are fearful-hearted, ‘Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, With the recompense of God; He will come and save you.’” (NKJV)

Amen Blondie- thank you for that today.   May our eyes be fixed on Jesus now for all He has done for us and our hearts full of praise and thanksgiving.

“This is what the LORD Almighty said: ‘Administer true justice; show mercy and compassion to one another. Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the foreigner or the poor. Do not plot evil against each other.’” Zechariah 7:9-10 (NIV)

justice longs to draw you close and pour out His healing.
One of my favorite passages in the Bible is Revelation 7 where John sees a vision of “every nation and tribe and people and language” (Revelation 7:9b, NLT) standing before the throne of God. There will be no glares there, only eyes fixed on Jesus our Savior. There will be no divisions there, only unity as we sing our praise. There will be no prejudice there, only love.

Lord, show me my own prejudices so I can seek Your repentance. Guide me to act in ways that lead to true justice. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
