Thank you for that Blondie , the other day I came across a verse in Jeremiah that says He is our Restingplace-that just so touched my heart.

Comment by Blondie on October 30, 2018 at 1:15pm

“He said to them, ‘Come away by yourselves to a secluded place and rest a while.’” Mark 6:31a (EHV)

Exodus 33:14, “The LORD replied, ‘My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.’” (NIV)

Psalm 62:1, “Truly my soul finds rest in God; my salvation comes from him.” (NIV)

Lord, help me to embrace Your grace. Guide my steps as I seek to come to You … and allow me to rediscover the rest You commanded to be part of my life. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

“God will strengthen you with his own great power so that you will not give up when troubles come, but you will be patient.” Colossians 1:11 (NCV)

James 1:2-4, “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” (NIV)

Father God, thank You for reminding us that You’re more interested in preparing us than keeping us comfortable. We confess no part of us likes suffering. But we know we can trust Your heart for us. And that means we can trust You when You allow us to be poured into situations we would rather avoid. Keep shaping us. Keep strengthening us. We know the work You’re doing in us is good. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

In agreement with you Skye in Jesus name!

Prayers going out to all the loved ones who got sad and frustrating calls yesterday!  I was so excited to get my son's form letter, and was all smiles. Quickly that turned to grief as so many families, posted that they had heard from their SRs about not passing.  So Lord Bless them and Keep them, may His Face shine down upon them and give them strength and courage to to pass the second time or move on to what ever You may have in store for them.  In the name of Jesus  -Amen

Thank you all for your prayers and encouragement!  Just waiting patiently on that next phone call and form letter!  I’m  not really too worried, more excited for him and miss his goofy humor and smiles!

What an absolutely adorable little girl! And such a sweet smile! And I love that her bags were packed! I know you can't wait to hold her in your arms. :)

this is where I am heading.  I told her Nana was coming to visit, she missed understood and thought they were coming here, she got her bags and went back for her carrier and filled it with her animals.  How Precious is that?!
