Asking for Prayers of Peace and Calm.

I'm feeling overwhelmed.   I always think I'm doing okay and handling things fine, but then that 1 thing sends me spinning.  Trying to stay in the moment and full of the Holy Spirit.

But I had van troubles (over 500.00)  my son's car quit this morning so up early to take him to work (5:30) before starting our morning routine and after a long day (10 hours plus at work) I will have to go pick him up before starting supper.... My part-time office help went on a mission, now leaving for vacation, when my girls are coming home!  So no time off work for me. if I life through this week, next week is office party (on Monday, which means no going home for lunch and recharging) Tue. Mandatory Webinar, Wed, Thur. and Friday working 10 + hours each day.  My newly pregnant daughter and SIL coning Friday night, hosting a party for them to announce to my family. (she's on a special diet) Saturday after I work, Hubby's family Christmas, she will announce it there (they've been trying for 9 years, 3 specialists and 2 miscarriages) so a BIG deal.  Sunday  our Navy kids will get in (granddaughter with all her allergies and special diets and 2 more dogs)  Monday(Christmas Eve.) I work at least 7 hours (more depending patient load) so hopefully some evening fun before heading out to Midnight Mass. Christmas day up early with Tahlia and brunch, say good-bye to Pregnant daughter and SIL (plus their 2 dogs) then prepare food for my family's Christmas for supper.  I did take Wed. the 26th off because we are taking our navy family and grandson to Akron Zoo lights so they can see our Eldest son and his wife!  Then back to work Thur., Fri. and Sat. cause my help will still be on vacation!  I did get my tree up and it's half decorated, presents are Not wrapped....  I'm hoping to get a couple days off at the beginning of the year, as soon as I do month-ends, year-ends books and inventory at work.

then my Navy family will be heading back home WAY to SOON!

Thanks for listening to me ramble.  Oh I also somehow deleted my grocery list!  No milk, eggs, butter, soy, nuts, beans... My girls will help once they get here but since it's for short periods and holidays, need to get groceries before they get here. Although I already told SIL to be ready to run to store LOL  Neither is from around here and don't know they're way around the country side!  Hubby will get Christmas and hopefully the 26th off. But is always on call.  So, 7 adults, 2 grandkids and 5 dogs, What could go wrong?

So planning a Very Busy, Loud, Fun Holiday!

“Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.” Philippians 2:4 (NLT)

The next time the Holy Spirit nudges your heart to help a senior adult move her groceries to her car, assist a mom in carrying her family’s food to the restaurant table, or drive past the close parking space so another person can park near the door, obey. Each time you do, you make another deposit in your Memory Bank of Faith and experience God anew.
I’ll be the first to admit, trusting God through obedience can be fearsome, because we never know what He will ask us to do.

Lord, I long to participate in the work You are doing around me. Quicken my ears to hear You. Stir my heart to obey You. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

My soul glorifies the Lord and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior, for he has been mindful of the humble state of his servant. From now on all generations will call me blessed . . .”
Luke 1:46–49

Dear God, today I ask for a fuller understanding and appreciation of your many gifts. Increase my faith, and allow your works to be done through me.  Amen

In agreement for the marines in the plane collision, heal the broken , Father God , in body and spirit in Jesus name , and let the missing be found. Thank You!

Matthew 7:21, 24-27  "Everyone who listens to these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock. The rain fell, the floods came, and the winds blew and buffeted the house. But it did not collapse."

This is the heart of it: if you are rooted in God, then you can withstand anything, precisely because you are linked to that power which is creating the cosmos. You will be blessed at the deepest place, and nothing can finally touch you.

Praying for the Marines that are lost, those searching and their families.  2 found, 1 declared dead and 5 still missing.

God be with them, their families and the rescue teams.

Do not be afraid, Mary, you have found favor with God.You will be with child and give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus.” Luke 1:30–31

“I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May it be to me as you have said.” Then the angel left her  Luke 1:38

God, help me to hear your voice. Give me the desire to say yes to you in all things. Lord, thank you for including me in your plan. Help me to appreciate the large and small ways that you use me.  Through Christ your Son. Amen

Lord, help me relax and trust and be glad that I do not have to know all the answers.

My voice shalt Thou hear in the morning , O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto Thee and will look up.  Psalm 5:3
