amanda76, I put info on your My Page to help you get started.

Good, just anxiously awaiting the box then the form letter! I feel I have so much to tell him already & he’s only been gone a week!

My son left Jan 9 and I just got the box. It was like a punch in the gut but I'm so happy for him. It is so hard not talking/texting with him every day.

Hi!! My husband also left Jan 8th. I received his box of clothing but haven't received any kind of letter or info yet! He left from Maine.

Well, good news & bad news from this momma! Bad news first, I was able to call RTC mailroom & found out the “box” was delivered on 1/11 & signed for by someone who does not live in my home, meaning it was delivered to the wrong house, the mailing address is correct on the shipping label. I live in a condo complex, so now I’m checking with all my neighbors to locate the box. Who would sign for a box, see it’s not addressed to you & keep it?? I’m so upset about it! No one has brought it to my front door over the last 10 days, how awful of them!

Well, the good news is, my informed delivery shows my form letter coming in todays mail! I can see the return address on it, shows he’s in Ship 6, Div 132...anyone else have their SRs info? Cannot wait to open it & see his PIR date!

If they gave you the name of the person who signed for it, then that should help.

It is great that you will get the form letter today. PIR is 03/08/2019.

That is awful!! Hopefully you will find it and get it back!! I got the DEERS form from my husband today, which had his address on it, YAY! He is Ship 12 Div 133. No form letter yet, Hopefully will get that this week and maybe hear from him! Sending out my first letter, if you haven't heard of Sandboxx, I would download the app and give it a try!! Congrats momma!

It is awful! That one piece of something I was looking forward to! But anyway, I got his form letter with his Div 132 & PIR date of March 8th! Already planning our trip out! Booked our hotel so far!  I did use Sandboxx and wrote him as soon as I got his address today! Thank you!

My husbands PIR will probably be the same date! How exciting! Unclfortunately because my due date is 3-16-18 I won’t be able to travel :( but it is so much more exciting to be able to write our loved ones now! I know I’ve been scouting my mailbox daily waiting for a letter!! Love the support and info this page has given me already! :)

Yes, DIV 133 has PIR on 03/08/2019.

So exciting that you’re expecting around the same time he’s graduating! You will be able to watch PIR live online, as long as you’re not having the baby then! Is this your first baby? Do you know what you’re having? Sounds like your guy has a lot to look forward to & work hard for these next few weeks!

Thank you very much, we are both so very excited!! It is outlet first and we are having a little girl we plan on naming Emmalynn! I know he’s using her as his motivation to get through this, it’ll be so nice to see him graduate and to be starting our family!
