Yay fireteam! You added 'fortis' into the mantra! Congrats on getting to Chicago, and having an extra day with your Sailor. I'll be getting on the road shortly, should be arriving around 5, barring any bad traffic.

fireteamleaderwife:  YAH!  That is exactly why we tell you all to try and book through the weekend...just in case...because as you have found out, plans can change!  So glad you are getting extra time with your new sailor!

WE ARE HERE!

I think I might blgao about it on the site as I feel "blabbery" bout our adventure getting here! We don't travel by air and all the "special" packing etc has been a challenge for us first timers! Security at the AP etc. and through it all...being COMPLETLY exhausted (I kept falling asleep when I was getting my mani/pedi on Sunday), EVERYONE has been so curtious and helpful all along the way! What a blessing. Having fun in spite of being so tired.

Glad I booked an extra day "in front" of PIR and now REALLY glad I booked to stay until Sunday as my Sailor called while I was flying(left a message) and told me that plans had changed and he would now leave Sunday not Friday! WOO-HOO!

You know...I'm not surprised...it's the military way! It had crossed my mind too when I was on the plane! LOL

EGO sum paratus, Ego sum lentesco, EGO sum fortis...rears it's head again!
