Sorry about the abrupt end, got a phone call.
AJ - Any news from A? You are both on my mind lately. I am certainly hoping everything has been resolved and he's better. Hope you hear something soon. Hugs.
Nicole - Awww... sugar, that just stinks. So hard. Start writing him all your thoughts so he knows how much you miss him. I sure hope it speeds by. Remember, he's going to have to go through the same thing when you join. Hang in there, we love ya.
Donna = Yay... so exciting. Sounds like you did very well with the hotel accommodations. Plus the breakfast - Score!!!!
Well I will be skyping Haley today at 1500. I talked to her breifly when I got out of the hospital just so she could see I was alive and kicking. My doctor wants me in for an Upper and Lower GI on the 16th, so another trip in that day. Hopefully they won't find anything and I can just heal and get back to having fun. I'm discovering that I can't eat some foods. Coffee - Lordy, lordy, I'm lost without my coffee and go figure, it isn't working for me. I'm eating small/tiny meals like 4 or 5 times a day. I can't eat too much or else it makes me feel icky. Needless to say, I'm not taking the phentermine right now. No need. I suppose that's a bright side. Lol.... I swear I've had more drama this last year than I've had in the rest of my entire life. I'm ready for healthy and no more surprises. Well it's raining here still, oh wait, sunshine now.... our weather is doing it's schizophrenic spring thing. At least we are seeing a little sun. Of course the two nicest days were when I was in the hospital. Lol... had our first 80 degree days. Now it's cooler, wetter and grayer cause I'm out. Crazy!!!!
Oh the day I went into the hospital Cody got into an accident. He's fine. His car is probably toast. Poor kid. He rearened a large SUV with his little Honda. The Honda suffered 90% of the damage. He got a little whip lash but is alright now. Not sure he's going to fix it this time or just see what he can salvage off it and start saving for a new used car. I just felt so bad for him because he was upset about that and me being sick again. And I couldn't be there for him. That sucked the most. I just wanted to hug him and tell him it'll be alright. He's a tough cookie though and is doing fine now. I'm very proud of him. He's a very good kid and strong. He wrote on his FB page something about learning how to not give up. That's my baby.
Well, I need to get going. I sure hope everyone else is enjoying summer and no more horrible weather. Kids are wrapping up school and it's time for BBQ's, laughter, and lemonade. Mmmmm.....
Take care - Happy Tuesday.
Mrs B- That is so horrible about y our fall. Hope you heal fairly quickly and your dad also. Blood pressures are such a touchy thing to control when they get out of control. At least, they realized what was going on quickly and took action. Will pray that you both will be alright.
Hurley- WOW- 18lbs. That's great. Wish I could lose that much. My Dr. just laughs at me. Some people just don't understand that you just don't feel good with the extra pounds even though you are still in your range.
Well, I think I finally have my hotel for homecoming. Less than $300 for 4 nights and a free hot breakfast each morning. Spent all day yesterday looking. Getting so excited even though it is a couple months away yet. Thought I better book early since it will be around Labor Day also.
Nicole- You know everyone is here for you. You will get through this BC again. Next it will be y our turn and we can do it all over again. So exciting for you,
Hope everyone has a great day.
Morning Ladies.
Mrs. B - Oh man, that sounds awful. Hope you heal quickly. What did you fall down? And I'm so sorry your Dad is having problems with his blood pressure. Sounds like they are aware of it and are treating him, so hopefully everything will be alright. Hang in there. You know what you have to do to stay strong for those that love you and need you. Know we are thinking of you. Hugs to you and your family.
Hurley - What a whirl wind of activity. So happy for you and the time you are getting to spend with your boys. 18 lbs is impressive. Good for him. Can't wait to see your pics. Don't fret about us, we will be here when things calm down for you. Just enjoy those boys while you can. RSL all around!!!
Hi Ladies,
Well, things aren't going so well...I fell last night and scrapped myself up from head to toe. Literally. I hit my head, my ribs (the ones that TJ fractured while I was pregnant with him), my shoulders, my hip (which is black and blue) my knee which is about the size of a golf ball, and my shins and feet....errghhhh. And then this morning my mom emailed me to say that my dad is having mini strokes. :( He is going to the doc to get stronger meds. His blood pressure won't lower even though he's on meds for it.
I am struggling with all of this, because I live 1,400 miles from him and we don't have the money for me to just go fly to see him. I'm so tired of problems and my dad means the world to me. I can't stand it if something happens to him!!!! I've lost like 3 of my best friends in the past 5 years to cancer/car wreck. This is getting to be too much for me!!!!
Hope things are going better for everyone else... gotta run
