Ms. Lyn,

The Ship’s Chaplain is distributing pillow cases to the crew and some of the folks in dental are recipients of your heart felt gifts. Thank you very much. It means a lot to many of us who are away from home that other people care and appreciate what we do.

Have a great Navy Day!

Very Happy that they are making our Service Members feel good on the USS JOHN C STENNIS  !

Dear..,

I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the pillow case that I received. This shows a true and deep respect for you country and the Military men and women that protect it. The fact that you took the time and material to help us rest better thousands of miles from home separated from friends and family, shows patriotism that not many others share. Once again thank you.

Respectfully,

Ms. Peggy,

Hello my name is PS1 **** ******* and I am serving onboard the USS John C. Stennis (CVN 74) aircraft carrier as a STAFF member which basically means I work for the ******* directly. We are currently underway in the ********.

I received your pillow case and it is just beautiful; thank you for doing something so kind. I have not taken a photo with my pillow case yet but I will and will forward it to you! I have to admit I cannot sew for the life of me, it is quite a talent and I envy you.

Your gifts were a true blessing and put a lot of smiles on faces here...thank you, have a blessed and wonderful day!

Very respectfully,

PS1 **** *******

****deleted all contact information myself! Love my Sailors!
great notes ladies.  thanks for posting.

Good afternoon Ma’am,

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for the wonderful pillow cases you sent to the Men and Women serving onboard the USS JOHN C. STENNIS (CVN 74).  The deployment is going exceptionally well and extremely fast which is great because that means we will be home with our families sooner than we think.  What makes deployment worth it is when we receive these gifts as a thank you for our service.  We are all exceptionally proud to serve our Country in the Armed Forces and truly blessed by your gift.

As for me, my name is *** ******* and I have served for 23 years, with three more years remaining before I retire.  I am assigned as the *****, which is in charge of all the***** onboard the STENNIS.  I have been married for **** years and have three children (1 girl and 2 boys).  I grew up in *****, Maine where my sister and parents still reside.

Again, thank you so much for your gift and may God bless you.

Sincerely,

YIPPEE! Got two more Thank You emails today! Will modify and post them later... no photos from them, but one promised to send me a photo later!
These are some of the pcs I sent to the female marines.
very nice Lyn.   love that doggie fabric.
Hello!

My name is ****  ****** and I’m a Sailor stationed aboard the Stennis. I wanted to take a moment to thank you for the pillow case you sent out to the ship. A sports car print with red trim is much more exciting than institutional white. Ha! Your thoughtful gesture has helped bring a bit of home out here and put a smile on this old Sailors face.

Thank you!
