Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Felicidades con la graduacion de su hijo.  Normalmente se comunican con sus padres como mas o menos dos semanas antes de su graduacion.  Yo tengo dos hijos que estan en el navy... y cada uno se comunico en diferentes tiempos durante su entrenamiento en basic.   Si usted tiene una pajina de FACEBOOK, tambien hay veces que ponen retratos de los grupos en la pagina de FACEBOOK...

No hay de que... Si se le ocure alguna pregunta o duda no falte en comunicarse conmigo y yo trato de contestarsela lo mejor que pueda.  Adios.

Que Felicidad por ti y por tu hijo...!!!   El mio se graduara para Abril 12, estoy ahorita en el; dilema de los boletos de avion, hotel, renta de carro, etc.    quien me puede dar una buena recomendacion???

Nosotros viajamos por auto y nos quedamos en La Quinta en Gurnee... hablan espanol alli... donde se quede no se le olvide decirles que viene para la graduacion y quisas reciba descuento.  

nosotros tendremos que viajar por avion.....estamos leeeejos.....   acabo de reservar en el Red Roof Inn....  no sabes como esta????

Hola, mi Hijo se gradua el viernes 5 de abril, 2013 y estoy super feliz de volver a abrazarlo..

Quisiera que alguien me comente como es ese dia en la ceremonia.... 

Hola Mamas Lindas!!!   Mi hijo se graduara el 12 de Abril. El esta en  Great Lakes, IL. Tendre la oportunidad de ir a su graduacion pero.....  no tengo ni una idea de todo lo que se hara.....  Alguine de ustedes que ya haya vivido esa hermosa experiencia me puede dar algunos tips.  Nos alojaremos en el Red Rood Inn.(alguien me puede dar su punto de vista acerca de este hotelito??), y lo mas importante ......  expliquenme por favor como sera el dia de la graduacion!!!   con cuanto tiempo de anticipacion me recomiendadn llegar. que vestir, etc, etc, etc.    Se los agradecere sinceramente.  gracias!   Patty

Hola Pattysota, mi nombre es Lucia... Mi hijo se gradua este viernes 5 de abril y estoy en las mismas condiciones tuyas, emocionada pero sin mayor conocimiento, solo lo que he visto en You tube (tampoco soy tan cibernetica), y los folletos que mandaron.  Cuando regrese de mi viaje, puedo comentarte con mucho gusto.  

Solo se que las puertas abren a las 6: 30 am , que la ceremonia es corta pues termina como a las 10./ 10:30am

Que Linda Lucia! Te agradecere muchisimo que no se te olvide contarme con detalle (clima, que me permitiran llevar conmigo a la ceremonia, horario, despues de la ceremonia que se puede hacer, etc.) cuando regreses tu experiencia. Muchas Felicidades!!!!!
