N4M's Community Guidelines and OPSEC.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends".

Such a great thing that you did, Coedy'sMom!  You blessed that SR with your letter!

I have only received one BattleStations date for this group....for 367/368.  Please friend request or message me dates you have received for BattleStations.  Thanks!

Good Morning Navy Family! I received a letter from an SR who I had written because the had only received 1 letter in the 5 weeks he had been there. I was so moved! It makes me sad to think that some of the SRs don't get mail!! Thank goodness our SRs give us names of others who need the love! I just keep sending letters!!

I know he can do it, it is just getting him when he has time to mess with it lol. Hopefully before I go home for sure. I am going to try and get him to do it this afternoon. Hoping he gets off early :)

Does anyone have any BattleStations dates, received from your SRs, for this group?  If so, please friend request/message them to me.  I'm starting the schedule for this group.  Remember that we cannot post them here on this site (only private message) or on FB (again, private message).

Lala, sure hope that your son in law can get that bug out of your computer!

Good Morning All !

I am so sorry I have been MIA, not only am I babysitting my new grand baby but my computer is possessed :( pop-ups have taken over and I get about 10 or 15 min on here and then have to shut it down. Very frustrating, especially when I use it for my business. My SIL is an IT so he is supposed to try and fix it tomorrow. I sure do hope he can. I can't take it any more, ready to throw it out the window of a speeding car lol but I do not want to buy a new one so keep your fingers crossed. An IT for the Navy should be able to make it all better and get rid of the viruses!!! Right? I hope all of you are having a much better week :)
