This the first time I've commented, but I read them all the time. I wanted to say that I've missed hearing from you all and my son got his dolphins! And with only five days at sea (his boat is in dry dock, but he got to go out on another). I'm so proud of him.

I have missed hearing all the news. My son is now in dive school in FL. Wish I knew how long it was and if they have a graduation. If any one knows please let me know. Thank you

AmyL wow! That's great. My son was in Groton and just finished first in his class but did not get to choose his station. Wanted to be closer to home. Got stuck in New England. Sad.

My son just finished his first year in Groton. It was boring. He went to the mall a good bit. Visited Boston a couple of times went to RH. Found a group of guys to hang with. They grilled out often in Spring/Summer. But her met a girl and BAM! No more boredom. On his way to Portsmouth, NH today to join his boat. Very excited. Hope he'll be busy enough not to run the roads to see the girl.

Also - There's always providence, RI. He can take the ferry out to block island and bike the island. There are some hiking trails in near by Stonington. He can always go to Newport and do the cliff walk, see the mansions etc.

He did add that he needs a car and blue card liberty to do anything! (Or a friend with a car!) He is looking into more from his friend who grew up in Groton.
