I did a yard sale yesterday to help fund mine!

Sounds like the school with 800 students will cover these 2 groups.  Is there another that we could help?

The school plans on sending around 12 boxes so we continue to need help with the current groups.

I have boxes, forms, and we are packing the boxes Friday.  Where do I get the addresses to send the boxes?

Pat,

I still do not see the address where it has always been. I've been checking for days & hoped it would just show up, but like you said N4M is having issues!   I plan to mail one box of cards & tolietries for the ladies next Monday but need the address before I leave depart on Friday.

Thank you so very much. Sent you a PM with the Makin Island address.

Finally stumbled around enough and fell on it!  Thank you!  Hopefully I'll be a bit more savvy on the next go 'round!

I sent one box to each unit. The Makin Island received pillowcases DVD's books and snacks the crew in Yemen received playing cards and all the treats I could fit in the box

Thank you so very much!!

I sent off 2 to one unit and 3 to the other the Monday before Thanksgiving.  I have enough left to send in January (had to pace the shipping $$)!!!  Ha!  Sure gave me a warm Christmas spirit when I got the boxes to the PO.  I'm not sure who benefits more, the recipients or me!  :-)

Ahhhh, you have discovered our best kept secret! Sending some love from home to America's sons and daughters does as much for us as them! Even though we will never meet these young men and women, we are making a difference in their lives.

Thanks for sending the boxes!

I sent a message to our 2 adoption groups to give them a heads up about the number of boxes to expect.

Here's a reply from our Yemen group:

Good morning,

Thank you so much! I can't wait to see my guy's faces when they see the boxes of love that you guys sent. I can't put into words how much I appreciate you.

We wish you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year as well. I will take a team picture and send it to you guys when we receive the packages. Have a great day.
