Hello Moms! I'm  new to this group, but I'm a member of both BC moms and Beyond Bootcamp. My Sailor finished A school in Meridian earlier this year and is now at NBC North Island. I found out that it's the base where some scenes from "Top Gun - Maverick" were filmed. Apparently there was a premiere there for the sailors. That's cool!

Hi, I am new to this group.  My sailor just graduated from boot camp last Friday - January 11th.  PIR was impressive and I loved it!  My son is in Mississippi for "A" School now, studying for Logistics Specialist.  I am a new Navy Mom and I am interested in learning all I can about Navy life.  I would appreciate direction to learn about "A" school, and beyond.  What to expect, plan visits, etc.  Where can I read about it all?

My son graduates from A school in June. Does anyone have a  schedule? Thank you!

I'm trying to find out information about Graduation. I have the date, I just need to know a schedule...what time does it start? how long does it last?, etc. I'm trying to determine travel arrangements as we may have to drive from New Orleans to catch a flight which is 3 hours away. Want to be sure to allow sufficient time to make flights. Thanks!
