What a great idea.  My son left for bootcamp and it was really hard for his father and I - we went on this site and read about the Blue Candle and we lit it the first night and have done so everynight - This is a great way to remember not only him but other that are serving or who have served.  Thank you!

My son's PIR is 05/26/11 so I will definitely be lighting my blue candle on that day.  Will also light one on Memorial day.  What a wonderful way to remember our military!!!

Thanks!  The actual coordinator of all this is Alicia from Texas, but it seems to always get "buried" on this website....so I thought I would make it a new event so it would get more attention.  The original Group and discussions is here at this link, if you would like to see more!
