\n\nFor those of you that are not sure what Navy Week
 s are, they consists of a series of events designed to tell the Navy s
 tory: what the Navy does, why it’s important, and what opportunities
  exist in today’s Navy.

\n\nAlbuquerque\nNavy Week 2009 is pack
 ed with events demonstrating the mission of the Navy and our proud her
 itage. These events could include Blue Angels, \"Leap Frog\" Parachute
  Team, and Navy Band performances, Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) D
 ive Tank, SEAL Accelerator, SEAL Fitness Challenge, Navy TACH Demos an
 d Flyovers, Blue Angels F/A-18 Flight Simulator, Accelerate Your Life 
 Experience (AYLE) Simulator and Navy Theme-Wrapped Suburban all intent
  to give the public a personal look at the men and women of the Navy s
 erving throughout the world in different roles.\n\nWe hope to have Rea
 r Admiral William H. Payne, Deputy to the Director J5, United States C
 entral Command, as our spokespersons. There could also be special gues
 t visits by the star of ABC’s Hit show “The Bachelor: Officer and 
 a Gentleman,” Lt. Andy Baldwin, a Navy Undersea Medical Officer, the
  Navy \"Leap Frog\" Parachute Team, Navy Band and other outstanding lo
 cal Sailors.\n\nN4M is not sponsoring this event, but if you're intere
 sted in coordinating something special with fellow N4M members, here's
  some Do's and Don'ts to keep in mind :)

\n\nDO get involved with
  Navy Weeks.
\n- You are encouraged to participate in Navy Week acti
 vities when appropriate.
\n- If you want to get involved with the Na
 vy coordinators, your group should appoint a \"spokesperson\" to coord
 inate with the Navy. (This will alleviate multiple calls on the same t
 opic.). The Navy Week points of contact can be found on www.navyweek.o
 rg. Go to the schedule and click on the city that you are interest in.
  The point of contact for that city's Navy Week will be listed.

 n\nDO NOT independently contact the flag officers or VIP participants 
 involved in your town's Navy Week, but do work through the appointed N
