 o give you a little background on Navy Weeks, they are set up by the U
 S Navy with the intent to reach out to cities all over the nation and 
 give residents a chance to learn about the Navy. To allow people a goo
 d look into the diverse roles available in the Navy, these weeklong ce
 lebrations can include:\n- Performances by the Navy Leap Frog Parachut
 e Team and the Blue Angels\n- Dive demonstrations and dive tanks\n- SE
 AL fitness challenges\n- Navy rock and ceremonial bands\n- Flight and 
 other interactive simulators\n- Appearances by Admirals, divers and sa
 ilors\n- Community service projects\n- Events with local sporting team
 s\n- Much more!\n\nN4M is not sponsoring this event, but if you're int
 erested in coordinating something special with fellow N4M members, her
 e are some Do's and Don'ts to keep in mind :)

 volved with Navy Weeks.\n- You are encouraged to participate in Navy W
 eek activities when appropriate.\n- If you want to get involved with t
 he Navy coordinators, your group should appoint a \"spokesperson\" to 
 coordinate with the Navy. (This will alleviate multiple calls on the s
 ame topic.). The Navy Week points of contact can be found on www.navyw
 eek.org. Go to the schedule and click on the city that you are interes
 t in. The point of contact for that city's Navy Week will be listed.\n
