DESCRIPTION:Navy Week is coming to Des Moines, IO from April 20th - 26
 th!\n\nFor those of you that are not sure what Navy Weeks are, they co
 nsists of a series of events designed to tell the Navy story: what the
  Navy does, why it’s important, and what opportunities exist in toda
 y’s Navy.\n\nDes Moines Navy Week 2009 will be packed with events de
 monstrating the mission of the Navy and our proud heritage. These even
 ts could include Navy Band Great Lakes \"Horizon\" performances, SEAL 
 Accelerator, and Navy TACH Demos and Flyovers all intent to give the p
 ublic a personal look at the men and women of the Navy serving through
 out the world in different roles.\n\nRear Admiral Michael T. Franken, 
 Deputy Director, Strategy, Plans and Policy United States Central Comm
 and will serve as our spokesperson. In addition to RADM Franken, there
  could be guest appearances from Lt. Andrew Baldwin, M.D., of the Navy
  Bureau of Medicine and Surgery and formerly of the ABC TV series “T
 he Bachelor,” and other outstanding local Sailors.\n\nN4M is not spo
 nsoring this event, but if you're interested in coordinating something
  special with fellow N4M members, here's some Do's and Don'ts to keep 
 in mind :)\n\nDO get involved with Navy Weeks.\n- You are encouraged t
 o participate in Navy Week activities when appropriate.\n- If you want
  to get involved with the Navy coordinators, your group should appoint
  a \"spokesperson\" to coordinate with the Navy. (This will alleviate 
 multiple calls on the same topic.). The Navy Week points of contact ca
 n be found on www.navyweek.org. Go to the schedule and click on the ci
 ty that you are interest in. The point of contact for that city's Navy
  Week will be listed.\n\nDO NOT independently contact the flag officer
 s or VIP participants involved in your town's Navy Week, but do work t
 hrough the appointed Navy Week points of contact listed on www.navywee
