 th!\n\nTo give you a little background on Navy Weeks, they are set up 
 by the US Navy with the intent to reach out to cities all over the nat
 ion and give residents a chance to learn about the Navy. To allow peop
 le a good look into the diverse roles available in the Navy, these wee
 klong celebrations can include:\n- Performances by the Navy Leap Frog 
 Parachute Team and the Blue Angels\n- Dive demonstrations and dive tan
 ks\n- SEAL fitness challenges\n- Navy rock and ceremonial bands\n- Fli
 ght and other interactive simulators\n- Appearances by Admirals, diver
 s and sailors\n- Community service projects\n- Events with local sport
 ing teams\n- Much more!\n\nVice Adm. Alan S.Thompson, Director, Defens
 e Logistics Agency, and Rear Adm. William G. Sizemore, II Chief of Nav
 al Air Training will serve as our leading spokespeople. Also participa
 ting are Sailors with significant ties to the local area.\n\nN4M is no
 t sponsoring this event, but if you're interested in coordinating some
 thing special with fellow N4M members, here are some Do's and Don'ts t

 ate.\n- If you want to get involved with the Navy coordinators, your g
 roup should appoint a \"spokesperson\" to coordinate with the Navy. (T
 his will alleviate multiple calls on the same topic.). The Navy Week p

 and click on the city that you are interest in. The point of contact f
 or that city's Navy Week will be listed.\n\nDO NOT independently conta
