DESCRIPTION:Navy Week is coming to the Quad Cities from June 18th thro
 ugh the 24th!\n\nFor those of you that are not sure what Navy Weeks ar
 e, they consists of a series of events designed to tell the Navy story
 : what the Navy does, why it’s important, and what opportunities exi
 st in today’s Navy.

\n\nQuad Cities Navy Week 2009 is packed wi
 th events demonstrating the mission of the Navy and our proud heritage
 . These events could include Navy Band performances, SEAL Accelerator,
  SEAL Fitness Challenge, Blue Angels F/A-18 Flight Simulator, Accelera
 te Your Life Experience (AYLE) Simulator and Navy Theme-Wrapped Suburb
 an all intent to give the public a personal look at the men and women 
 of the Navy serving throughout the world in different roles.\n\n\n\nTh
 ere will be a Flag Officer as our spokesperson. In addition to the Adm
 iral, there could be guest appearances from a namesake crew, Navy Band
  and other outstanding local Sailors.\n\nN4M is not sponsoring this ev
 ent, but if you're interested in coordinating something special with f
 ellow N4M members, here's some Do's and Don'ts to keep in mind :)

 ¨\n\nDO get involved with Navy Weeks.
\n- You are encouraged to part
 icipate in Navy Week activities when appropriate.
\n- If you want to
  get involved with the Navy coordinators, your group should appoint a 
 \"spokesperson\" to coordinate with the Navy. (This will alleviate mul
 tiple calls on the same topic.). The Navy Week points of contact can b
 e found on www.navyweek.org. Go to the schedule and click on the city 
 that you are interest in. The point of contact for that city's Navy We
 ek will be listed.

\n\nDO NOT independently contact the flag offi
 cers or VIP participants involved in your town's Navy Week, but do wor
 k through the appointed Navy Week points of contact listed on www.navy
