DESCRIPTION:Navy Week is coming to York from September 14th through th
 e 20th!\n\nFor those of you that are not sure what Navy Weeks are, the
 y consists of a series of events designed to tell the Navy story: what
  the Navy does, why it’s important, and what opportunities exist in 
 today’s Navy.

\n\nReno Navy Week 2009 is packed with events dem
 onstrating the mission of the Navy and our proud heritage. These event
 s could include Blue Angels, and Navy Band performances, Explosive Ord
 nance Disposal (EOD) Dive Tank, SEAL Accelerator, Blue Angels F/A-18 F
 light Simulator, Accelerate Your Life Experience (AYLE) Simulator and 
 Navy Theme-Wrapped Suburban all intent to give the public a personal l
 ook at the men and women of the Navy serving throughout the world in d
 ifferent roles.\n\nTheir will be a Flag Officer as our spokesperson. I
 n addition to the Admiral, there could be guest appearances from a plu
 s the Navy Blue Angels, Navy Band and other outstanding local Sailors.
 \n\nN4M is not sponsoring this event, but if you're interested in coor
 dinating something special with fellow N4M members, here's some Do's a
 nd Don'ts to keep in mind :)

\n\nDO get involved with Navy Weeks.
 
\n- You are encouraged to participate in Navy Week activities when 
 appropriate.
\n- If you want to get involved with the Navy coordinat
 ors, your group should appoint a \"spokesperson\" to coordinate with t
 he Navy. (This will alleviate multiple calls on the same topic.). The 
 Navy Week points of contact can be found on www.navyweek.org. Go to th
 e schedule and click on the city that you are interest in. The point o
 f contact for that city's Navy Week will be listed.

\n\nDO NOT in
 dependently contact the flag officers or VIP participants involved in 
 your town's Navy Week, but do work through the appointed Navy Week poi
 nts of contact listed on www.navyweek.org\n\nFor more information visi
