DESCRIPTION:Navy Week is coming to Salinas from August 2nd through the
  9th!\n\nFor those of you that are not sure what Navy Weeks are, they 
 consists of a series of events designed to tell the Navy story: what t
 he Navy does, why it’s important, and what opportunities exist in to
 day’s Navy.

\n\nSalinas Navy Week 2009 is packed with events de
 monstrating the mission of the Navy and our proud heritage. These even
 ts could include Blue Angels, \"Leap Frog\" Parachute Team, and Navy B
 and performances, Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Dive Tank, SEAL Ac
 celerator, SEAL Fitness Challenge, Navy TACH Demos and Flyovers, Blue 
 Angels F/A-18 Flight Simulator, Accelerate Your Life Experience (AYLE)
  Simulator and Navy Theme-Wrapped Suburban all intent to give the publ
 ic a personal look at the men and women of the Navy serving throughout
  the world in different roles.\n\nTheir will be a Flag Officer as our 
 spokesperson. In addition to the Admiral, there could be guest appeara
 nces from a namesake crew, the Navy Blue Angels, Navy \"Leap Frog\" Pa
 rachute Team, Navy Band and other outstanding local Sailors.\n\nN4M is
  not sponsoring this event, but if you're interested in coordinating s
 omething special with fellow N4M members, here's some Do's and Don'ts 
 to keep in mind :)

\n\nDO get involved with Navy Weeks.
\n- You
  are encouraged to participate in Navy Week activities when appropriat
 e.
\n- If you want to get involved with the Navy coordinators, your 
 group should appoint a \"spokesperson\" to coordinate with the Navy. (
 This will alleviate multiple calls on the same topic.). The Navy Week 
 points of contact can be found on www.navyweek.org. Go to the schedule
  and click on the city that you are interest in. The point of contact 
 for that city's Navy Week will be listed.
