DESCRIPTION:Navy Week is coming to Spokane from May 10th to the 16th!\
 n\nTo give you a little background on Navy Weeks, they are set up by t
 he US Navy with the intent to reach out to cities all over the nation 
 and give residents a chance to learn about the Navy. To allow people a
  good look into the diverse roles available in the Navy, these weeklon
 g celebrations can include:\n- Performances by the Navy Leap Frog Para
 chute Team and the Blue Angels\n- Dive demonstrations and dive tanks\n
 - SEAL fitness challenges\n- Navy rock and ceremonial bands\n- Flight 
 and other interactive simulators\n- Appearances by Admirals, divers an
 d sailors\n- Community service projects\n- Events with local sporting 
 teams\n- Much more!\n\nVice Adm. Bruce W. Clingan, Deputy Chief of Nav
 al Operations for Operations, Plans and Strategy, and Rear Adm. James 
 A. Symonds, Commander of Navy Region Northwest, 
will serve as our l
 eading spokespeople. Also participating are Sailors with significant t
 ies to the local area.\n\nN4M is not sponsoring this event, but if you
 're interested in coordinating something special with fellow N4M membe
 rs, here are some Do's and Don'ts to keep in mind :)

  get involved with Navy Weeks.\n- You are encouraged to participate in
  Navy Week activities when appropriate.\n- If you want to get involved
  with the Navy coordinators, your group should appoint a \"spokesperso
 n\" to coordinate with the Navy. (This will alleviate multiple calls o
 n the same topic.). The Navy Week points of contact can be found on ww
 w.navyweek.org. Go to the schedule and click on the city that you are 
 interest in. The point of contact for that city's Navy Week will be li
 sted.\n\nDO NOT independently contact the flag officers or VIP partici
 pants involved in your town's Navy Week, but do work through the appoi
