 or those of you that are not sure what Navy Weeks are, they consists o
 f a series of events designed to tell the Navy story: what the Navy do
 es, why it’s important, and what opportunities exist in today’s Na
 vy.\n\nSpokane Navy Week 2009 is packed with events demonstrating the 
 mission of the Navy and our proud heritage. These events could include
  and Navy Band performances, Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Dive Ta
 nk, SEAL Accelerator,Blue Angels F/A-18 Flight Simulator, Accelerate Y
 our Life Experience (AYLE) Simulator and Navy Theme-Wrapped Suburban a
 ll intent to give the public a personal look at the men and women of t
 he Navy serving throughout the world in different roles.\n\nRear Admir
 al Symonds, Commander Navy Region Northwest will serve as our spokespe
 rson and there will also be Navy Band and other outstanding local Sail
 ors.\n\nN4M is not sponsoring this event, but if you're interested in 
 coordinating something special with fellow N4M members, here's some Do
 's and Don'ts to keep in mind :)

\n- You are encouraged to participate in Navy Week activities w
 hen appropriate.
\n- If you want to get involved with the Navy coord
 inators, your group should appoint a \"spokesperson\" to coordinate wi
 th the Navy. (This will alleviate multiple calls on the same topic.). 
 The Navy Week points of contact can be found on www.navyweek.org. Go t
 o the schedule and click on the city that you are interest in. The poi
 nt of contact for that city's Navy Week will be listed.

 T independently contact the flag officers or VIP participants involved
  in your town's Navy Week, but do work through the appointed Navy Week
