DESCRIPTION:Navy Week is coming to the Twin Cities from July 17th to t
 he 25th!\n\nTo give you a little background on Navy Weeks, they are se
 t up by the US Navy with the intent to reach out to cities all over th
 e nation and give residents a chance to learn about the Navy. To allow
  people a good look into the diverse roles available in the Navy, thes
 e weeklong celebrations can include:\n- Performances by the Navy Leap 
 Frog Parachute Team and the Blue Angels\n- Dive demonstrations and div
 e tanks\n- SEAL fitness challenges\n- Navy rock and ceremonial bands\n
 - Flight and other interactive simulators\n- Appearances by Admirals, 
 divers and sailors\n- Community service projects\n- Events with local 
 sporting teams\n- Much more!\n\nVice Adm. John J. Donnelly, Commander,
  Submarine Forces 
Commander, Submarine Force, Atlantic Commander, A
 llied Submarine Command, and Rear Adm. Anthony E. Gaiani Commander, Na
 vy Region Midwest, will serve as our leading spokespeople. Also partic
 ipating are Sailors with significant ties to the local area.\n\nN4M is
  not sponsoring this event, but if you're interested in coordinating s
 omething special with fellow N4M members, here are some Do's and Don't
 s to keep in mind :)

 - You are encouraged to participate in Navy Week activities when appro
 priate.\n- If you want to get involved with the Navy coordinators, you
 r group should appoint a \"spokesperson\" to coordinate with the Navy.
  (This will alleviate multiple calls on the same topic.). The Navy Wee
 k points of contact can be found on www.navyweek.org. Go to the schedu
 le and click on the city that you are interest in. The point of contac
 t for that city's Navy Week will be listed.\n\nDO NOT independently co
 ntact the flag officers or VIP participants involved in your town's Na
 vy Week, but do work through the appointed Navy Week points of contact
