Counting Fridays may be easier on you than counting days. Recruits typically graduate on the 9th Friday they are at the RTC, 10/04/2013 for your SR, but since he arrived on a Monday, it could be the week before, but for now expect it to be 9 Fridays until you get the form letter and know for sure.
If your future Sailor has asked to be considered for an earlier ship date, then it could happen any time between now and then with anywhere from a few days' notice to a few months' notice if someone else with the same contracted rating is unable to ship for some reason. She does not have to take an earlier ship date if it is offered though, but most do unless they have a good reason not to.
I just found this and wanted to say thank you. I have a SR at bc since May 7 and I have a Navy Mom tee shirt. The other day someone thanked me and wanted to know if my son was deployed. I said he was at bc and then she thanked me for his service. It was awkward but I felt so much pride of my son it caught my breath and I couldn't breathe. I can't imagine what it is going to be like at PIR on June 28.
