It's never too early! We sent 3 letters every day. Keep in mind not to send anything embarrassing. No glitter on cards, etc. So exciting to get letters back from them.
Rhonda - no care packages to basic - only letters! #them on the outside of the envelope so when your SR receives them she will no what order to open them.
Unless you have received the informational form letter from your Recruit it is too early to send letters. They don't receive mail until 2-3 weeks into training and RTC asks that you hold back until getting the official address in the mail.
We were told by the recruiter no packages at all, and not to send anything until you get the address from your SR. We were told the address they have may not be the correct one. I am just writing everyday and when I get the address will forward them on.
Good advice. There are a couple items that can be sent (contact lens & solution, minimal make-up), but wait for your Recruit to request them.
