Hey all. I figured I would start a chat so each ship/div can choose what color of scarf they want to wear to PIR. Once each group makes a decision you can post your color on this thread, so that we don't all choose the same color.

If anyone in Div 058 & 057 is having trouble finding green scarves....look in the St. Patricks Day stuff. Just an idea since it's in the stores right now. I saw a green boa that would do in a pinch.

OK, I guess I am little out of the loop here... what are the scarves for? Is this a winter scarf? What kind of scarves are these? I'm not going to PIR but my father in law is...should I tell him to wear a particular color shirt if he doesnt want to wear a scarf?

how do we get our scarfs/Div 056?

If you are talking about the green ones with the anchor on them that several others have ordered I am the one making those. Just send me an email to: uniquememorymakers@yahoo.com or you can send me a friend request here on Navy for Moms. I believe there is a pic posted on your DIV discussion. Thanks, Lora

Travelbug & Akeylime....I'm not sure how it originally got started, but from what I understand, winter PIR groups do this.  Each division picks a color scarf to wear so we can find other N4M's and other families in the same division.  Also our SR's can pick us out.  Division 058 & 057 families will wear green (if they've heard about it). You'll have to read through the previous posts to find your division color.

Hey everyone.  I made my lime green fleece scarf tonight with the pattern winterrosebud sent a link to.  It turned out great. Even my very picky 17 year old daughter liked it.  If you have a sewing machine and can sew at all you could make this scarf and they are very nice. (12/057)
