Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Please note! Changes to this guide happened in October 2017. Tickets are now issued for all guests, and all guests must have a ticket to enter base. A separate parking pass is no longer needed to drive on to base for parking.

You should be able to get the address from the recuiter. You won't get any letters from here for about 3 weeks. You should get the box and form letter soon. The box is via FedEx and the letter is snail mail. The letter will have ship, division, address, grad date, password for gate pass, brochure with hotel info and a few lines from your rct.

There is be a lot of info there...look in the discussion forum. Also go to your page and scroll down to read comments on your comment wall. I left you a greeting message with links and other info that may be helpful

My son also left the 18th. I contacted his recruiter who has now given me his mailing address. This includes his Ship and Division #. Will write letter with that

My son left for boot camp 1/18/2011 we recieved a letter today the 27th giving us his mailing address and PIR date. You'll get information soon if you haven't already. My son is in SHIP 07 DIV 104. I'm looking forward to hearing how he is doing and what he is learning. My husband is retired Navy so we knew a lot about it prior to him leaving for BC.

I got my letter last night as well. However, he did not include the PIR date. Hopefully I will get it with my next letter.
