<p>My nephew is a nuke, and just finished his sea tour on a submarine. He was out a lot. Now he has orders to shore duty, prototype instructor, with a happy wife and brand new adorable baby. Hang in there, it gets good!</p>
<p>I gave the usual answer for surface sailors. Oddly, I never went to a ship, just overseas. Women could not serve on combat ships when I was enlisted. I still know how it works, father, husband, and acquired kid were all aviation on carriers, or ETs on amphibs. Lots…</p>
