Yay, I am in this DIV!
Hi Mary...looks like we are the only ones. Hmmm... have you had any news lately? I haven't heard from him since the phone call on Saturday. No letter to his GF either.
I recieved a letter that J was able to write on Saturday. That's about it... he did give some info on his DIV you might not know and find interesting...
He says from all the RTC's.. his div lucked out on RTC's.. im not sure yet on what if he got the "nicer" one or the "hardest" one.. IDK.
The div lost 2 Asmos but gained 3 so they have 72 in the div.
The first PFA ( running, push ups, sit ups) was this past Monday.
You are getting a TON more info than I have which is just Awesome as your info is really my info. LOL I told me that he had passed his swim test last weekend. Not sure how did on the PFA as I have not gotten any letters and, of course, won't get one today.

Yeah I mentioned that the recruits were "cool", and I have to say that after reading HCC, I REALLY appreciate the caliber of the RDCs (is it RTC or RDC?? not sure-will look into it) and the sacrifices they go through to train our recruits. Thanks for sharing.

I MAY have screwed up. I sent I a yellow thanksgiving envelope!! I thought it was close enough to white. It was just SO funny and fit BC perfectly. Oh well, too late now, and I am sure that I will hear about it if he has to do extra PT.
I really hope he doesn't have to do extra PT. I know J's son A is in Boyscouts and they are wanting to make card to send to him and I know his class does to.. I made sure to tell them white envelopes and what to send.. the basic letter, card, or picture. I really hope if they send something.. they listened.
For all that I know. No new news.
ok deleted my response with J's name. I forgot this wasn't mail. Sorry about that. Well, everyone says no news is good news. I did get a short letter from I this weekend. He returned my semi-form letter. He said they owed over 1,200 push-ups. It was kinda an old letter as he told me he had written some of it before we got all the phone calls to plan rides home.
The letter said they didn't get a call Sat. cause the little kids don't know how to be quite.
uh oh...that could include mine... how many "little kids" are there? Were all of them talking? Maybe this weekend.
I have no idea. I wish I knew all the little details. I'm just super glad that J is not going to A school in SanDiego. He will be in Great Lakes so yay! He will be 9 hours away. Not too close but close enough to come home on weekends from A school when he gets Liberty! SO excited!
That IS so wonderful for you!! I is going to be in Groton, so if anything, he will be further away than he is already!! I will need to save money to visit him!!
Hi Mary and NDG. My son is also in this division. Glad I found this forum. My son wrote that they should be calling home next Sat.
