I was excited to find a mom with someone on the same ship also.
walker: Since you all can't go to PIR, ask on this group if someone can take some pictures of her and give her your hugs! I know you posted on the main board that you won't be going, but maybe you should post here too.
My husband and I are not going to make the trip for PIR at the request of my daughter she wants us to pay for her tickets to home and A school and we decieded that we would do that and give her the money we had saved. So if any one willing to get some pics of her I would bewilling to pay for them. I am sad that I wont be there.

Diannep thank you.
You're very welcome.
I would be happy to take some pics and email them to you. Just email with her name and I will gladly help out.

Maggie
Proundmom you are wonderful I cant thank you enough for helping me out with this Thank you so very much
I told you, walker, that the ladies on this site are WONDERFUL! Thanks, proudmom!
I can take some pics for you also.Maybe I can get your daughter and my son together(the highest scores on the first test).
Yes they are wonderful and I cant express how much it means to me that someone is willing to do this for us. Thanks to all the moms.
You will find that your new "military family" is like that. My son was kind of freaked out when arriving on his first duty station base (small and in a shipyard) at night on a Friday...with no one around after he was picked up and left in his room...told not to go outside because it was dangerous at night. Great....he called me totally freaked out and my heart sunk. I posted on the Norfolk ladies site (I was new to it) right away...the ladies were wonderful! One lived close by and offered to go pick him up and take him for a burger! Can you believe that? You will be amazed....WE ARE FAM-I-LY....as Sly and the Family Stone sung...for those of you old enough to remember! HA!
