Have any of you recieved a personal letter yet? or a phone call? I'm seriously getting kinda depressed ....I havent heard my daughters voice in 3 weeks ...I run to the mailbox everyday after work.. and still havent recieved a letter from her. I know they say "no news is good news" but this is torture.

Hey. I received a couple today. I'm sure yours will be there this week. Sunday was the first day they actually got to send mail. I live in Illinois so I'm sure that's why mine came today. Hold in there. My SR told me that they are all doing ok and that BC isn't as bad as everyone thinks :)

Just got our SR's letter, He said getting his wisdom teeth pulled was fn murder LOL..  He also said he is part of the laundry crew and he can strip and make a bunk in less then 6 minutes... He never did that at home!!! lmao...He hated cleaning and quite frankly he was bad at it. LOL. He was very happy with all the letters from us and was very surprised he got letters from his friends and thanked me for telling them his address. All the support and words of encouragement from us & his friends helped.  AND YES THE WIFE CRIED AS YOU WILL TOO... LOL

Lol Mr. Mom that is pretty funny! They say BC brings out the best in the SR lol mine said the same things about the letters, it's their only connect to the outside world I guess!!! I can't even laugh at his wife bc I did the exact same thing, then afterwards I danced around the house lol

LOL --- well in 36 days we will all smile, be happy, laugh, cry, dance then spend some time with our SR's and then we will smile and cry all the way home until after "A" or what ever school others SR's go to we will all do it again. In between we laugh and cry as we read and write our letters.

wow my son had his pulled once he got there too.....

My boyfriend is in this division! We have been dating for over 6 1/2 years, so this is the longest we have not talked to each other =[.. to be honest I am going crazy, I miss him so much! I can deal with the not seeing each other all the time because we went to different colleges, but it is the whole not talking thing that is absolutely killing me. I am hoping to hear from him soon. It is nice to hear you guys are finally getting letters, hopefully that means mine is on its way!

I am sure your letter will be in your hands soon. Just hang in there. I have been married to my wife for 20yr's at times she says you should go camping... camping O- you need time away from my "charm" lol. ( thought you could use a laugh ) Soon you will be reading & hugging his letter then you will feel so much better.

You should do what I did and frame his letter & place it next to a picture of him, so when you need that little bit of help to get through the day you can read the letter as you look at his picture... Ok I must stop I'm showing way to much of my MR,MOM side... lol & yes I cry at sappy movies like LOVELY, STILL... I'm still trying to get her to watch it lol. She likes zombie movies and all the badly done horror movies and I love to cook and clean...WoW and to think in the 80's I was a metal head. lol

we will be ok jen....its almost over now

Do any of you know what color our DIV is? I hear some ladies of other DIV's will be wearing scarves to support their DIV and to identify each others SR's DIV at the meet & greet. My wife will, but I think it will clash with my Dale Earnhardt SR #3 jacket....  LOL

Me, my wife, our 5yr old & grandpa will attend the Sarge's meet & greet to show our support to all. Is any one from SHIP-9 / DIV 85 going?

we'll be there too! .. do u have any idea what the weather in chicago is in march? We're from California,... very warm here.... we're not really used to cold weather..
