Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

I GOT A BUNCH OF LETTERS TODAYYY!!! I can't even begin to explain how great it feels to finally hear from himmmm =]

she did...her boyfriend is my son....i cried when  i got mine as well

 We just got our 1ST call from our SR. He past his PT with ease and thanked me for pushing / forcing him to work out and run all the time. He also said that after testing he should be an E2. He sounds like he is already turning into a SAILOR / MAN. I hope you all get that O-so important call, I feel so much more at ease.

I got mine tonight too! Of course I was in class, but I ran out of the room and got to talk to him for a half hour! So emotional, but SO HAPPY I got to hear his voice! I cannot wait for this to be overrrrrrr. we are almost half way there!! =]

i didnt get a call....you would think he could remember his own mothers phone number

  We'll We got three more letters today!!!!  He said DIV 85 got a DIVISION FLAG for all of them passing their first test & He is looking forward to the "confidence chamber" LOL ... Next up is Firearms training, Now that I know he will love. He also said PT isn't exhausting as he thought. ( probably because I made him run & do everything he was to do in BC  for four months)... I hope you all get letters & good luck to all your SR's.

hey MR.mom... my daughter is also on Ship 09 Div 085... she said its an integrated division with both males and females,.. so yea shes probably training with your son.....  My husband, myself, and our 2 boys will also be attending Sarge's meet n greet thursday nite,... we fly into chicago @ 330pm so hopefully we're not too exhausted. But we are sooooo excited to be there for our kids PIR march 9th!! Hope to meet you and ur family there!!!

 Great to hear msanna71 , I am driving in from mid TN on the 8Th and I will be so darn excited I wont have time to get tired lol. I just hope I am able to get some sleep before PIR but I think we both know what will happen, We will constantly wake up to check what time it is... lol 

    CONGRATULATIONS to you, your family & your SR....  see you in 27 days at the meet and greet!!!
