Im getting so anxious!! I can't wait to see him !!! I MISS HIM SOOOOOOOO MUCH!

Oh My Gosh Me Too!!!

A very wise and seasoned Navy mom passed on to another Navy mom just like me this msg.   If you feel like your heart has been ripped from your chest....it has....it went with Jonathan....he needs it more than you.  Love him, be proud of him, cherish your memories of the time you spent with him, but do not grieve the child he use to be for he is now a fine young man.

Got a letter from my son today!! He passed his inspection with 5.0 and 100% on his PFA!!!! so so so so PROUD!!

Me & my Husband ( MR.MOM-DIV-85 ) got more letters the past 2 days. Our SR is doing so well & we are so proud of him.   He said he didn't make marksman rating, he did get sharpshooter with a score of 210 out of 240...

He also said the shotgun was Exhilarating!!!

He has no marks or demerits, He made E-2, passed PFA & passed test 1....  AWESOME SON....

they will get service dress blues and pictures on the 17TH

The 21ST they will have drill & 2 other tests so we cant wait to hear how that went.

We have had 4 calls from him from day 1 till today & I hope we get more... He already sounds soooo - different (in a good way) more mature and confident...

I will keep you all informed...

P.S. He said he cant wait to hang up his clothes again, this folding thing sucks LOL...

That is so GREAT!!  Congrats!! 15 more days!!!!

Thank you Linda!!! I cant wait to see my Son & Congrats to you and yours.

did he earn some of the calls as a reward? we've only gotten 2 calls so far =[

1st call was I am here and safe, 2 & 3 where personal & the 4TH was for info for them to do additional security / background checks, but we got to talk to him for 10 min after we gave the Gentleman all the info for him to verify.... He is a CTM

oh okay thank you. i was just wondering...i got the im here call and one personal call, but i get that everyones situation is different i was just curious!

Has anyone's SR mentioned my son...andrew...he is a section leader...even if it wasnt nice...an sooo wanting information on him...thanks

I leave TN for IL in 13 day's and I just get to sit and enjoy the ride as I think of my son and how much I have missed him. I can't wait to see my son as well as stop at BUONA BEEF & get  the original beef on an Italian roll & stop @ LUCKY DOG or similar to get a steamed Vienna beef dog on a steamed sesame seed bun!!!!! My husband (MR.MOM) already has everything planed out. What time we leave, where we stop for gas, where we stop for food, games, videos, toys & snacks for our five year old & he has a list of restaurants he has check out online with reviews and he even searched images to see how the food and the restaurants look inside and out as well as info going back 2 years from ppl on this site and the dad's site on where to eat....  LOL  I think he wants every thing to go well for Me, our five year old and Grandpa on the way there as well as for our SAILOR!!!!  LOL   I hope to see you all @ Sarge's meet & greet...
