6 more days and we get to see our Sailors :-) I got a I am a Sailor call yesterday. It was nice to have a long conversation with my daughter. I cant wait to throw my arm around her. She is still RPOC and will lead DIV 331 out. I am such a proud mother.

I got my call as well.  I have a daughter who is in 332 division and she was very excited. She told me she was really missing me and can't wait to see her mommy and dad!!  First time she has called me "Mommy" in a long time.

I hope they all feel bette soon. Yay for graduation pictures. I can't wait to see them!

Wishing all our sailors the best of luck as they take their final PT tests.  Can't believe we are in the singel digits!

Congratulations to us all and our SRs!!!!!  Who would have thought the time would pass this quickly.  Looking forward to meeting you next week!!!!!!  Have a safe journey everyone!

Karen

Just got a call from my son, Alex, Div 332...he is officially a SAILOR!!!  He said they had their hat ceremony this morning, the Boot Camp part is officially done, and he is officially a sailor...YA!  SO VERY PROUD of him and all of our recruits/sailors!  Cannot believe we will see him 1 week from today!!  Looking forward to meeting all of you as well!  We will be at the Ramada's welcome reception.

He also found out he has been accepted in to the Navy's Ceremonial Honor Guard...what an honor!!!  He will be going to Washington DC for 2 years.  Could not be more proud of my son!!!

That is just amazing!  Ready for our calls next week, but so very excited to hear about the calls coming in.  DC for 2 years - how fun will that be?  and an easy flight for mom to visit!  :-)

Thank you!  I am very excited for him!  Fortunately, WDC is also a drive away for us, so that makes me VERY happy!

Good Luck to your recruit!!!  And I hope you get a call very soon!

Congratulations....

Congratulations to all our new sailors!  Is anyone from  this group going to the  Meet and Greet?

I will be at the Meet & Greet - maybe with one of my daughters as well.

My spouse and I will be attending.  I also think my daughter's boyfriend is going to come as well.
