A recruit's stay in Great Lakes can range from 7-10 weeks, depending on a number of factors. It's difficult to guess PIR dates according to their report/arrival date.
•Push divisions can complete boot camp as soon as 7 weeks after arrival, more commonly 8 weeks, but they are rare, and there are distinct circumstances surrounding their formation.
•Most recruits graduate about 9 weeks after arrival. Recruits usually spend a week in processing, and begin official boot camp training a week after they arrive.
•Some divisions may spend 10 weeks in Great Lakes before PIR, due to extra long processing, or too many federal holidays during their training schedule. Each federal holiday puts them a day behind in training.
