We got our first phone call last night.  Teary but great to finally hear from her.  We thought that PT would be tough, that's okay what is tough is the clothes folding and keeping her rack tidy.  I knew I should have stopped putting her clothes away for her when she turned 18!!!  I hope all Mums (I'm British that's how we spell Mom in the UK) are holding up.  I'm sharing your stress.  Look for me among the many happy Mums in Great Lakes on April 16th:)

We got a letter on Thursday and she is passing and the division is passing and getting their flags. She also said that they were the top scoring division on their ship which made her happy which is a relief. She said that she is starting to have happier moments at BC but her two favorite times of the day are still chowtime and bedtime!! Friends are making it easier too. We have a Navy flag in the garage and agreed that as soon as she gets her cap we will put it up on the house. We are so looking forward to that day. She mentioned they took photos but no-one had time to order them I wonder if and when we will be able to get a copy?
Wishing you all a peaceful and blessed Easter.
Wayne, so happy to hear that your daughter is doing well and that the whole division is progressing. Your daughter is Ship 13 Div 160 RIGHT ? Forgive me if that sounds dumb but my son is Ship 13 Div 160 and I haven't gotten a letter this week and of course I have been worrying as usual. I also read so many posts on these sites that sometimes I can't tell which ship and divisions are posting. God Bless and wishing you and all others a blessed Easter.
Sue. I had a problem as well trying to find our division on this site for the longest time.. It is PIR April 16 and then "Everyone is going to make it in Ship 13 Div 160" and Yes our daughter (Wayne & Roz) is in this division.right along there with Daniel. They are doing well now which is wonderful and I just hope they get all the flags. We have had only one phone call (apart from that first day) and one letter a week. Please do not worry that you haven't had a letter this week my daughter tells me they are constantly on the go and have very little time to write. you know he loves you and we all get to see them very soon. The day I put her cell phone back in her hand will be oh such a happy, happy day. How did we ever manage without cell phones when we were young??? Keep smiling everyone.
Happy Easter to all parents!!!! My son ship 13 div 160. Pray all is well!!!! Got a short letter on Wednesday. They are doing very good!!!!! Praying to see you all soooooooon!!!!!!!!!!! God Bless!!! Happy Easter!!
Roz, thanks so much for the encouraging words. I to will be so glad to give Daniel his cell and even it I can't talk to him everyday I can leave a message and hear his voice. I am so thankful for all of you and I gave a praise report at church this morning for how well our Div is doing. God Bless and I hope to meet you all at graduation or the meet and greet. Happy Easter.
Still no letter. I said a long prayer this morning asking God to give our sons and daughters strength and determination to get through this week and next. Hoping and praying for a phone call or some news about what's going on this week. I know they are so busy preparing for tests and Battle Stations. Does anyone know when Battle Stations will be? Maybe next Monday. God Bless our sons and daughters and all of you here at Navy for Moms.
AMEN, No answer for you Sue. But i'm having problems with the retrieving the gate pass. Did call the Commanding Officer, stated give it a few days. If still having a problem, call back. This is 11 days before graduation. Hope all is well with our recruits.
Remember to put the password in ALL CAPS and use an apostrophe or any other punctuation that was given. I just printed ours and it worked just fine. Good Luck
My husband is in DIV 153 and his battle stations is set for this Wed. the 7th.
I'm having trouble printing the gate pass also. I'll wait a couple of days and if I can't get it then I'll call PAO. I followed the instructions and it just didn't work. Maybe later.
ME TOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
I just printed off the Vehicle Gate Pass but it would not let me type in my daughter's name. Do you just fill it in by hand??? It took me several attempts to get it down loaded, kept telling me something was wrong with Adobe, so keep trying it should work. When and where is Meet and Greet I am out of the loop on this one can someone fill me in please. I am taking 40 students to NY NY tomorrow for 4 days so I am going to be out of touch for a while. I have never been to New York so I am excited and it will make these last few days to Graduation pass quickly, however I am such a control freak that I am already stressing about what may go wrong! Had fun last weekend, I bought myself a new outfit for Graduation, got to look good for Ship 13 DIV 160, now all I need is a good wrinkle removing cream:). One last question is this a very formal "proper" ceremony, I supposed signs like: Go Navy or DIV 160 Rules are inappropriate?? Looking forward to seeing you all soon and our recruits no longer.
