Received a message from Cheryl Ann in North Carolina. She shipped 100 pillowcases today!!!! Thank you!!!
Mailed my box of cookies and about 90 cards on Friday.
Correction - total # of cards sent was 139. My goal this year is to send at least 1,000. I was hoping to send one each peron, but this group was large.
Lynda, Big thanks from Molly's Adopt A Sailor for a job WELL DONE!!!!
Alright ladies - sorry I've been silent the last week or so. My son graduated from A school on the 21st. WooHoo - one proud mama! He's already off on his first deployment. Lucky me, he is staying stateside! 3 years in WA! I'm so happy! Anyway, we made a 15 hour road trip - each way to San Antonio so I could pin his badge on him. WOW, what an experience. Anyway, cookies were shipped on Tuesday. Wanted to post a pic of just a few of them. Praying they make it in just a few crumbs and not thousands. LOL! I 'cushioned' them with sixlets! Heehee! Have a blessed day everyone! Off to finish decorating badges and anchors and guns (cookies) to send to my son and his shipmates as a bit of a treat for a job well done for them!
Darling cookies! They are going to be a big hit!!!!
