My son called. He sounded good. We had 2 minutes with him. I let my daughter talk to him too. The calls are so unexpected I can’t even think straight to ask questions.

Akgal- When did your son arrive at BC? Mine arrived on 4/18, so I’m wondering if they’re in the same TG. If I count Fridays, his PIR should be 6/14 unless he’s held back. I’m curious why they were able to call so soon.

I'm sure that was very tough to hear. You can always write your side of a heart-to-heart in a letter for her. I know that it's not the same. but sometimes it can help. Just stay positive for her. Sometimes the kids that say means things like that are just trying to hide that they afraid of washing out. Sometimes the kids that say means things like that are just trying to hide that they afraid of washing out. Also, remind your daughter that she only has to put up with that person for a few more weeks. Unless they are going to the same A school, their paths may never cross again. If they do end up in school together tell her that every person who has ever worked has had to deal with a real jerk at some point. Learning how to handle jerks will make her stronger. All of us moms are here for you to lean on when it gets difficult.
I meant to say must have. tag:navyformoms.ning.com,2019-04-29:1971797:Comment:105543742019-04-29T00:03:41.690ZMomof4https://navyformoms.ning.com/profile/Kimberly716

Oh Amber, that mustn’t have been a difficult call for you. I’m sure the moms that have through this can give advice. Mine left on the 18th, so I’m still in the very beginning phase. Hugs! Hopefully she’ll get the support she needs from other shipmates!
