Typically a recruit has been permitted up to ten tries to pass the PFA in FIT or be separated with chances on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday when those days are nit federal holidays. Since there is no PIR on the 22nd or 29th and also the Christmas and New Year's Day holidays, it is possible that your son may be in FIT longer if he does not pass this week due to days when the PFA wil not be held. Also, if he does pass the PFA, then he will have to wait for the next dividions to have BST.
