Good Evening...I have a son leaving for GL November 10th as well.
Can you believe how fast it is coming? It makes my stomach hurt. :(
This month is flying by! My son is very excited and ready to go.
Yes, my son is ready and anxious also. His mom? Now, that is a different story! I am excited for him because I am sure it will be so good for him, but the separation will definitely be tough for me.
It is all becoming very real for our family. This is the first time any of us (extended family also), have had a loved one join the service. So very new to us. He is also my oldest and first to leave home. GULP!
My son is anxious to get the boot camp over with and move on to A school. His best friend is already at A school the same place he is going, so he is anxious to get there.
Mom here is excited, scared and sad all at the same time.
Looks like we all feel the same way:) Looking forward to chatting with everyone and getting through this emotional time together.
