For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

LS A school in meridian mississippi... help
Does anyone know the policy on the liberty buddy thing my fiance got a chit approved to get married in a few weeks ona saturday and i am worried that he wont even be able to because he needs a liberty buddy to get off of base.. how strict are they on that and is rheere anyone he could ask to go by himself

hmm that wouldbe awsomebut he seems tothinkhe needsabuddyat all times.. he has a green dot but i guess i wouldnt know exactly ..when icalled and asked they said he needed a liberty buddy without asking me what phase he was do you know that is every a school .. thank you for your info i will have to ask about the phase thing

Tell him to tell his chief that to make the marriage legal, he will need to consummate it, because he doesn't want any legal problems. The chief will get the picture and more than likely approve the request to go alone.
Heck if was his chief, I'd approve it, just for giving me a great excuse and a really good laugh. I know it would work. Waivers for rules are just a part of the normal Navy thing.

When my daughter was in A school they were just starting the liberty buddies and I was able to sign her out. It was an eye opener, all those sailors and one mom waiting in line to sign my name. The pic in my head is funny. There wasnt a problem so I hope it works that easy for you too. Best of luck.
