My daughter left yesterday also, we were blessed to get her phone call just after 8:00.  I was surprised to get it so early in the evening but she sounded good.  Good luck!

My daugher also left on the 24th. Got her 20 second call, she sounded so robotic. That was the hardest night for me. Knowing that she was going to be up all night, I couldnt sleep. I did finally sleep last night and am back to work today. Looking forward to leaning on all those I meet on this site to get through to PIR.

Yes I havent got a good night sleep........yes exactly her voice was very robotic lol great way to put it hang in there! We are all in this together!

Got my box!!! So surprised it came so quick. She was told to bring a small wallet. It was in the box, empty. I wonder what she put her stuff in.. I'm set now. Got her address, and have make hotel res for PIR, even though I'm not totally sure if it will be 6/22, I figured the worst would be to cancel the reservation and make it for the following w/e. No note in the box, but her name was on the outside. I'm glad to have her stuff here.  Glad to be here along with ya'al.. This will be our first w/e w/o her. Uggg. And its going to be cold and dreary here. Might just have to catch up on my movies this weekend.

Hello Moms!! My son has been gone for almost 6 weeks now. It really does get easier as the days go by. I still cry for no reason other then I miss him sometimes. But that's just me kind of a sap when it comes to my kids and it doesn't help that he is the first to go. Stay strong Moms after awhile the days do go by faster.
