Thanks for your reply. Sorry I'm just responding but I've been super sick. I've had several letters and a phone call now and I can tell that he is really happy to be there. He's been sick and they haven't been able to get him well yet but they sent him to the hospital for some x-rays and blood tests so that should help them adjust his meds to help him get well. I'm really curious to hear from him to see if he's well and how he's handling the current part of boot camp which I understand…

I'm really curious to hear from him to see if he's well and how he's handling the current part of boot camp which I understand is super strenuous. I hope you've heard from your daughter and all is well. I'm curious how a 25 year old relates to the boot camp experience compared to a recruit like mine who is only 18. I guess we'll find out. Hope you are doing well. Are you going to PIR? My sons is 3/16 and the whole family is going. I've been watching the weather up there, too. Brrrr. I'm trying to find out more about the meet and greets so I can figure out which one to go to. I''m going to ask my son next time he calls if he knows anything or if he has a preference.
Hi Becky,

Hi Becky,

Welcome! My daughter left out of San Antonio on the same day and I got the call at 2:42am on the 25th. I think your son had to wait for her group to come in as there were 11 of them. The plane from SA to O'Hare was cancelled so they had to fly them to Dallas and that flight was delayed by 3 hours so she texted me she she landed at 12:12am. I know how hard it is, we all do.
