Hi, I saw your message in the main chat room put could not locate you!! Now I know why!.

I do not know anything about penny talk. The calling card has to be for regular pay phones. I found one for my son at our local CVS pharmacy - I think I said Walgreens in the chat - sorry. That was three years ago and I had a hard time finding one. I had my son set up the card himself so he knew how to use it.
Be sure the read the fine print on any of them that you might purchase as they charge different fees and such for the time. And some of them charge for a time period I think, once you use it for the first time.

The SRs are able to purchase a calling card at the NEX there at RTC, they will be given a "gift card" when they first arrive to purchase things if they don't have their bank cards, but I am fairly certain my son had his with him. They don't get their first pay check for awhile, so he needs to have money in his bank account at home for any bills that will need to be paid.

It seems in recent conversations that some of the ladies have said that there SRs were told to buy a calling card at the NEX even if they had brought one from home. So if you don't get a calling card for him before he leaves, that is one thing not to sweat over, it should be available at BC.

Also, I noticed you posted this I the general discussions. I would encourage you to post any questions on the main comment section of the BC Moms page. The way this site is set up, there isn't always instant notification to some of us about questions or discussions elsewhere. Our gal that usually keeps tabs on the Main Chat room, has been taking care of family business more so, and most of the admins are busy as well. We all volunteer our time on here, so most of us are focused more in the BC Mom group, but we will do our best to answer your questions.
