Just got our letter today so not sure how many out there have the same information.  7 days in and he says it sucks !!!  probably so !!  we'll start writing to him,  encourage him to keep going and remember that you go through Basic Training, you don't stay there.   Better things await those who persevere !

God Bless all the recruits

Kat- Hopefully this is true but have read in several different places that the SR's actually enjoy Battlestations.
They have trained for this and finally get to use their skills. We'll see, should be interesting.
A long time ago everyone was asking about the Navy Moms shirts and sweatshirts. Could someone tell me again where you can get them?
I hope that battlestations is almost over for our Div 366. Is it a good idea to get to the base around 6:30 on Friday? My daughter told me that there isn't as many divisions graduating with them and that there will be enough tickets to get in if extra family wants to go.
Make sure your daughter hasn't ordered them for you already, second, I believe they will be available at PIR or third, there is a website and mail in order form if you need it.
My son said BS21 was a blast!, really enjoyed it! Go Figure !
Ladies >>don't forget to print out your gate pass, it is available now. You can get it at : http://www.graduations-for-basic-training.com/GreatLakesNavy/Schedu... just copy and paste or go to the site in your original form letter.
Thanks for the reminder Nola, I had forgotten about that thing.
So good to get the call today and the wonderful news! He said he may be able to stay Friday nite 11/12 with us as he will leave the next day for A school. The Sailors apparently get a pizza party on Monday! Well, they all deserve it for all their hard work.
Hi ladies,

I hope you all recieved the "I'm A Sailor" call this afternoon. My boyfriend said the whole division did really well. They will have a chance to call us sometime tomorrow or sunday afternoon, he stated they get two hours of liberty to call, shop, go on the computer etc. He said they will not get their orders till monday or tuesday and does not know if they will recieve a call to let us know.

The days are getting close and closer to gradutation.
I am glad to hear that there are some that didn't get their orders today. My daughter was kind of disappointed that she didn't get hers today but she has a whole week before graduation I told her. I am so proud.
Has anyone thought about what they are going to give their sailors for graduation because we don't know what they can have and what they can't have yet?
THEY DID IT!!!! WHOOO HOOO 366!! I am so proud of them all! I don't know who was more excited, her or me. She said it was a blast and they have been up for 36 hours. They were going to get to go to bed a 2000 instead of 2200. They sould also get to call again tomorrow and again on Sunday! How cool is that!! They are done with BC ladies! They are sailors!!

I am one proud beaming mamma right now and I know you all are too. I was able to chat with her for a full 45 minutes!
Robbin - how cool was that? I thought of so many things to ask after I hung up!! He did get to call his dad at work also so I guess I should not hog all the phone time. Remember at the beginning when they were up for so many hours? They didn't think that was fun then! My, how time has changed things. Kinda sad for them, a team now, to be broken up soon when they all go different directions. They have been through a lot together. : (
I got my phone call this afternoon around 2:00! The whole division passed with ZERO failures! He was exhausted and anxious to get some sleep. He said they will get to sleep 10 hours tonight and tomorrow night, and on Sunday they get a reward of 2 hours free time to get on the internet, make calls, etc. They may be in line to get an award called CNO or CNO gold (not sure if I remember it correctly, plus he didn't know what it stood for), and possibly Hall of Fame??? Wouldn't that be cool. Cody got his orders and it says to report to A school no earlier than 11/20 and no later than 11/21, whatever that means. He said BS21 was awesome and very interesting. He couldn't tell me much because some of the info is confidential (there was another acronym for that.)

In his last letter he said "I'd kill a man for a Schlotsky's!" He is hungry for a really really good sit down dinner kind of meal, so we will probably try to find a fabulous restaurant to take him to on Friday or Saturday night. Any suggestions anyone?
