DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Just got our letter today so not sure how many out there have the same information.  7 days in and he says it sucks !!!  probably so !!  we'll start writing to him,  encourage him to keep going and remember that you go through Basic Training, you don't stay there.   Better things await those who persevere !

God Bless all the recruits

My daughter said the same thing, teary eyes and runny nose. She compaired it to a small room with a million peppers in it. She also said if she had to do it again, she would. Funny how much she has changed.

I've been thinking about her all day and sending good luck vibes her way for BS21. I keep looking at the clock and wonder how she is doing with it. I don't think I will be able to sleep much tonight. I know my phone is gonna be with me every second tomorrow and I can't wait to get that call. It's hard to believe it is so close to being able to see her.
I am with you. I can't wait and I will do is cry and when I hear her voice! I will be so excited. Go 366! You are all tough!
My daughter is a SAILOR! got the call at 3:00pm eastern time. She aslo had earned her third Bravo Zulu! I'm one proud Mamma. We hung the Navy Flag.
Also, 366 is not Grad and Go, They are there until the 20th! and then go to A school.
What great news for 366!
Do you know if this is for everybody in the division?
Kelly - don't you think it will be different for everyone? just thinkin'.......
She said that (they) were just told the A school plane tickets are for the 20th, but I didn't know who they were other than the division 366 that she is in.
joanne-my son says he is leaving the next day sat. 11/13 for A school unless something changes, that's what he was told.
Good thing you wrote that, I so others can ask when they get their recruits calls, I can't change my flight but others may be able to spend more time up there.
My daughter is leaving for A school on 11/13 as well. Those going to Charleston will be going to the airport at 03:00 as far as my SAILOR knows. Wow, I don't have to say recruit anymore!

She also said that their group was told that they did better than 90% of recruits. She was pretty pleased with the experience, and very surprised to hear that there was a video of Battlestations 21. They had to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
Ask your sailor when they call, some are there until the 20th. A school on the 21st.
