First off all congrats to your son for a long road and much bravery!!! I send this to you as well as the family serve in their journey and it truly is a hard thing to go through as a young man and family together. It has been a roller coaster ride for sure! So glad you were able to find those "eyes" among all the other recruits.
First off all congrats to your son for a long road and much bravery!!! I send this to you as well as the family serve in their journey and it truly is a hard thing to go through as a young man and family together. It has been a roller coaster ride for sure! So glad you were able to find those "eyes" among all the other recruits. I can tell you my son sounds sooo tired and monotone every time we speak and I try so hard to sound upbeat and happy, but my mom heart hurts so much. I feel your pain and all we can do is know "No news is good news" I think the last 2 weeks are very busy for them and having phone time is not a priority I guess. Us moms think it is, but in the RDC's world not so much. Their mission is to get the recruits ready to graduate. They are tired and all you can do is know in 2 short days probably by the weekend you will most likely get to hear his voice whenever you want (more flexible than bootcamp). Hang in there your journey of bootcamp as a family is about to end!!!

HUGS!!!
