We got the "letter" today!!!!

We are both so excited to finally know his address and what division he is in!!! We had both encouraged him to tell the truth when asked about previous marching experience and apparently he did since he is in Div 943! We are both thrilled to see him on 9/7!!!

Hi, my son is in ship2div943 as well.  I haven't posted anything until now, just been reading and following everyone else's posts and discussions.  They've been most helpful in most questions that I have been having.  I found a video on youtube from pir on Aug 24 and was able to spot my son.  His face was blurry but I know it was him because he's the tallest in his section (he plays snare and has a small solo).  My question is has anyone gotten the final phone call yet?

Can you please post a link to this video. My SR should be there playing the trumpet and I would love to see him. Thanks

The place to go is www.youtube.com; under the videos tab; the name of the video is Andrew's Bootcamp Graduation.  Hope this helps.  There may be some more by now, especially of the most recent one Friday; I haven't had a chance to look.  Has anyone received "the call?!?"

No letters in about a week or so.

NO letters here either!!

Does anyone here know how to order the division shirts? I see some on the Facebook page have ordered some. I have searched for links but am unable to find any.

Thanks for your help!

Well everyone, it looks as though Battle Stations for some divisions has been completed. Families have gotten the "I am a sailor!" calls from sailors in some other divisions with lower number designations. 943's have to perform at PIR tomorrow, yeah? The waiting has been knuckle-grinding for me. Fingers crossed everyone! GO 943!!!!!!!!!!!! Hoorah!

I hear someone has a video to yesterday's PIR? Is a public link available?

Your division t-shirts!  They also have them in gray, and sweatshirts.

Best way to get ahold of them is via e-mail.  If you order shirts now they will not be here before PIR.  Also recommend you don't order any shirts until AFTER PIR as your recruit (soon to be Sailor) may have ordered some for gifts and you don't want to ruin their suprise.  And if they didn't order any as gifts, as when they are ordering them they are kind of being spoken loudly at, they may not have thought of anything except ordering themselfs one....no worries as you can order them after PIR.

My SR isn't too up on considering gifts so I ordered a couple on Friday. The Lady was very kind and said right out that the print had already been done for this division, but she would do my order with the understanding that it would be 6-8 weeks for delivery. Christmas is fine with me as i just want the shirts. if any extras are available to bu at PIR, i'll get a couple there too. this design is AWESOME! I laughed out loud at work when I saw it. HOORAH!

Here is a link directly to the video for everyone.
